The Role
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer responsible for creating various digital assets optimized for usability, usefulness, and appealing visual design. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to design challenges by staying current with best practices and emerging design trends. You will work closely with product managers, UX researchers, visual designers, and client representatives to follow the design lifecycle from wireframes to prototypes and final deliverables. The role will give you ample room to flex your creative muscles, bring exciting ideas to life, and co-design solutions that have an impact on millions of users.
Responsibilities
● Effectively gather design and user requirements for digital assets.
● Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
● Produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic
designs, flow diagrams, and prototypes.
● Spearheads the UI design of the app and web portal under consideration.
● Efficiently incorporate user experience research insights from primary and secondary
sources into your design process.
● Test and iterate prototypes for intuitivity and experience.
● Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. readability)
● Combine creativity with an awareness of the industry standards in interface design.
● Adhere to style guides on fonts, colors and other graphic elements
Qualities We’re Looking For
● Excellent understanding and knowledge of best practices in UX and UI Design in mobile and web experiences.
● Strong oral and written communication skills and comfort of communicating across different audiences — from designers, developers, and internal stakeholders to clients and users.
● Ability to quickly turn around detailed wireframes and prototypes in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
● Ability to scope and estimate efforts accurately, prioritize tasks and goals independently, and meet short deadlines for deliverables.
● Creative mindset bringing fresh ideas, advocacy for the users, and critical problem solving
Requirements
● 6+ years of experience in UI & UX design
● Portfolio showcasing past projects preferably banking portals or portals in general.
● Experience working in design teams, and collaborating effectively across design teams
and stakeholders
● Knowledge of design and wireframe tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, InVision)
● Experience working in the banking and fintech industry would be appreciated.
